Yamaha Md8S In November of 2000 I purchased, over the internet, this 8 Track Minidisk recorder. The machine takes special Mini Discs which allow you to record upto 18 minutes of 8 track, 37 minutes of 4 track or 74 minutes of 2 Track. It is perfect for live recording as 8 tracks can be recorded simultaneously. This was the main reason I bought it.

Shure 57 Microphones I bought two of these microphones in March 2001 and they are useful for almost anything. Pictured here with the mic is my 'pop shield' which I use when recording vocals to eliminate booming sounds.

Phillips 770CdR This allows me to make Cd's from both external sources, such as my Md8 and hi fi system, and from other cd's which can be played in the second Cd slot on the right. This Cd writer can only make Cd's at 2X speed, which is slow, but it is very reliable and hasn't let me down yet. Also pictured is my Lexicon MPX 100 effects unit and one of my two sets of Sennheiser HD25SP Headphones.
